Triumph’s rapid expansion is all thanks to their most affordable motorcycles so far; the Speed 400 & Scrambler 400 X. Aiming to cast a wider net over the Indian two-wheeler market, the British bike maker has seen rapid expansion in India since its partnership with Bajaj.
Recently, Triumph reported selling 50,000 units of both the Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 X combined across 50 countries, celebrating this occasion with a discount on both motorcycles. The brand has also shared plans to organize various events such as welcome rides for new customers, off-road rides for Scrambler 400 owners, long distance tours and more social gatherings aiming to create a stronger community. It remains to be seen if this significant increase in dealer and service network will help the brand form a stronger foothold in India.
Currently the most affordable Triumph motorcycle is the Speed 400 and is available at a price of Rs 2.24 lakh (ex-showroom, India). While the most expensive motorcycle in their India lineup is the Rocket 3 Strom R, available for Rs 21.99 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
