BMW has clearly worked to make the SUV engaging to drive highlighted by its well calibrated and direct steering. The iX may lack the air springs of some of its rivals, though its steel-sprung setup does a good job in offering great ride comfort. The 326hp dual-motors powertrain offers a strong surge of power that remains into triple digit speeds, compared to a strong initial surge offered on some others. The cabin is a futuristic affair with the use of naturally cured leather and minimalist design with the 3,000mm wheelbase and flat floor offering passengers plenty of room. The 76.6kWh battery offers a claimed 446km of range, though we’d expect real world figures to range between 350-370km.
