The new Maruti Brezza is, uncharacteristically, not a value-for-money offering. There's loads of new features - 9in touchscreen, 360-deg camera, heads up display, 6 airbags, wireless charging, but only in the top ZXi+, which is very expensive. The weak engine performance will also not satisfy those looking for a punchy SUV feel. But that does not mean the Brezza has little merit. It is a decently equipped car with plenty of space and a very good ride. The latter is especially true in the city. As Maruti’s own tag line states ‘a city-bred SUV’, and there it does really well.
