The BMW M8 Coupe has a long and ambitious job description, but amazingly, delivers on all fronts. It's got the looks and performance of a proper supercar, but also the comfort, luxury and tech you'd want in an expensive grand tourer. Its faster around a race track than a Ferrari 488, and it can also do a road trip across India without breaking a sweat. Sure the rear seat and boot could have been more accommodating to make it a truly usable GT car, and its low ground clearance and fiddly (yet not uncomfortable) ride mean you have to be a little careful. But these are small foibles in a sports coupe that does so very much.
